Update April 2024
We are delighted to announce a new feature designed to enhance your RFQ or RFI events. This new feature empowers you to incorporate multiple sections of “Items” and “Questions”, granting you high flexibility and customization. Now, you have the freedom to include as many sections as necessary, whether they pertain to Items or Questions, and arrange them in any order you want.
Changes incorporated in this update:
1. Multiple sections of “Items” and “Questions” means that you will have the flexibility to include as many sections you need, of any type (be it Items or Questions), in any order you need. The new way of displaying multiple sections allows other customization like choosing which specific items are mandatory and which are not or adding special mentions for each section individually.
2. The “Multiple Tabs” feature will be discontinued, but this change will not affect past or ongoing events. Users who have activated “Multiple Tabs” on their event pages won’t encounter any interruptions, as each tab for both Articles and Questions will now be showcased as an individual section.
Furthermore, on the response page, tabs will be displayed as separate sections, while the response process will remain unchanged. This ensures that suppliers are not affected and can continue to submit their quotations.
3. The “Not all items are mandatory” checkbox, will be replaced with a more granular option: you’ll be able to select at the items level whether is mandatory or not for suppliers to fill in the response.
4. The RFQ and RFI will now merge into a single event. When adding a new event, simply click “RFP/RFQ” to initiate your sourcing events. By including only the “Questions” sections, you’ll essentially build an RFI. If you opt to create an RFP or RFQ, just add Items sections as well.
